Learnings from the As a Service Research - IACCM APAC Conference 2019

Over the past decade we have moved away from buying products to buying services. Aided by increased speed and access to the internet, this change is being seen in all market sectors but dramatically impacting the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) sector. Unfortunately, our commercial thinking and approaches have not changed as rapidly with many buyers and sellers having trouble moving from product to services resulting in delays and conflict. To address this, IACCM has completed research into 'as-a-service' in order to develop a set of contracting principles for consideration. The intent of the presentation is to provide the results of this research.
