Inspiration in the Face of Change

20/20 is the medical notation for “perfect visual acuity”, i.e., the ability to see what is in front of you with clarity and accuracy to a fixed standard. This notation could be considered a bit ironic when we consider the year 2020. The world has changed and we must adapt to regain our visual acuity even though new standards are still being established. We did not imagine what 2020 was going to be. Dramatic disruption demands dramatic solutions and it has inspired us to create a new immersive series of virtual events - Vibe - Vision, Ideas, Belief, Energy - that will support our success traveling the blurry road ahead. World Commerce & Contracting along with its 70,000 members are uniquely positioned to bring together the people and the organizations that are redefining and reimagining commerce.

In this TASK topic, Inspiration in the Face of Change, we focus on our Vibe initiatives as a core source of inspiration for our member community. Vibe is World Commerce & Contracting's virtual events portfolio which includes a specially curated set of inspirational keynote speakers via Vibe Talks, Optimism Cafe Podcasts and our virtual conference - Vibe Summit!

This year especially, we needed to come together as a community to share ideas, share experiences and share solutions. Our 2020 physical conferences were cancelled, however we were delighted to instead host our largest global virtual gathering ever in September this year at Vibe Summit.
