Jerry Silber is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience as both an external lawyer and in-house counsel. He specializes in negotiating and managing a range of commercial and technology agreements, including M&A, outsourcing, master services, and professional services agreements. Jerry's expertise spans critical areas such as data privacy, data security, and liability disputes. During his tenure at Verizon, Jerry led a team supporting complex commercial transactions and played key roles on executive committees like the Management Review Board and Integrity Council. Previously, he practiced corporate law at Katten, Muchin, & Rosenman, specializing in broadcast and telecommunication law.

He holds an advisory position with AI2030, a member-based initiative dedicated to "Responsible AI for a Better World," and writes a monthly column for AI2030 on case law impacting AI. Since retiring from Verizon in March, Jerry has been advising several start-ups on commercial and regulatory matters and has just begun a consulting gig with Frontier Communications. For over three decades, Jerry has taught communications law and ethics at various local colleges. His involvement with World CC goes back to the IACCM days when he was on the original team that promulgated the association’s first Contracting Principles. His continuous involvement with World CC since then (including several terms on the Advisory Council) led to his being awarded the status of “Fellow” earlier this year.

Jerry holds a bachelor's degree from the City University of New York, a master's degree in Journalism from Penn State University, and a law degree from Pace University School of Law, where he will be teaching next year. His commitment to pro bono work has earned him numerous awards and accolades.

Rod Wade, Vice President Contract Management & Procurement is an executive team member at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. in San Diego, California reporting to MedImpact’s CFO and is responsible for all corporate contracting, procurement and negotiation activities. Rod leads teams that support sales and buy-side contracting, as well as MedImpact’s procurement and vendor relations operations. Rod’s teams provide support to MedImpact’s Sales, Account, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Network, International, IT, Health Services, Government Services, M&A and affiliate/subsidiary companies.

Prior to joining MedImpact, Rod was Senior Manager, Contracts at American Specialty Health, Inc. in San Diego and prior to that was Senior Contract Consultant/Assistant Secretary for Prudential Insurance Company of America, Prudential Health Care Plan, Inc., and Prudential HealthCare Plan of California, Inc. in Los Angeles, California.

Rod attended the University of California Berkeley, received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University Northridge and a Master of Business Administration degree from California Lutheran University.

Ben Clarke is a Vice President at Capgemini with over 20 years’ experience in Commercial and Contract Management at various global blue-chip companies. He is currently head of the UK in-life contract management team and deputy head of the overall UK CCM team. His team support contracts with an annual revenue of over £2bn.

He has worked as the lead commercial person in deals throughout his career and has won in excess of £1bn of business across various sectors including Energy, Government, Retail, and Transportation. He has also managed contracts in life with a TCV value of over £5bn across multiple countries in Europe and the USA.

Throughout his career, Ben has developed systems and processes to effectively manage contracts directly with clients. He is a people manager and an advocate for growing his team’s careers and delivering value to the Capgemini business.

Tomeshia S. Beckett, J.D., L.L.M. is an accomplished Chief Compliance Officer with a strong background in data integrity and regulatory compliance. With years of experience in multiple industries such as Oil and Gas, Fintech, Research, Education, and Healthcare, she has successfully developed and implemented comprehensive compliance programs that ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements while building a compliance-focused organization and providing guidance to influence C-suite and Board Leadership.

She has successfully advised and influenced top-level executives on critical matters including but not limited to: FDA, FTC, HIPAA, CCPA, and OIG compliance, privacy issues, data integrity issues, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, fraud, audits, risk management, investigations, anti-corruption, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, she has been successful in obtaining investigation dismissals with the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Office of Civil Rights (OCR).

Throughout her career, Tomeshia has implemented robust data management systems and processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within the organization. By establishing data governance practices and implementing data quality controls, she has been able to mitigate risks associated with data inaccuracies and inconsistencies.

As a Chief Compliance Officer, Tomeshia has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance, including regulatory reporting, risk assessments, and internal audits. She stays up to date with the evolving regulatory landscape and ensures the compliance program is aligned with the latest standards.

She has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the compliance field by receiving accolades such as the “Most Powerful & Influential Woman” award by The National Diversity & Leadership Council as well as being published in the Internal Auditor Magazine where she provided insight on “Organizations offering Board Replenishment.”

She serves on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer for The Resource Group (TRG) and she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology (B.S.) from the University of Houston, her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Florida Coastal School of Law, and she received her Master of Law (L.L.M.) in Organizational Ethics and Compliance from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
