Else Bright has 29 years of experience as Commercial and Contracts Management practitioner specialising in Defence and IT industries in acquisition, services and as-a-service contracting, most recently working for BAE Systems’ Aircraft Sustainment and Training line of business in Williamtown, NSW focusing on the Joint Strike Fighter Program. Else has been a member of WorldCC for many years, and a WorldCC Council Member in Australia representing Aerospace and Defence. Else commenced her role as Senior Director Member Engagement ANZ in April 2022.

Greg has worked as CEO in several senior management roles such as Sebel Furniture, Corporate Express (now Staples) and Gregory Ergonomic Chairs. His Great Grandfather was Kamilaroi man with the family originating from Pilliga NSW. Greg has used this background to gain strong support from the Industry for Winya’s Industry based employment and manufacturing model, to achieve genuine longterm Indigenous employment in the Australian Office Furniture Industry. Greg is actively involved in Supply Chain management and Tendering, and brings a strong manufacturing and QA focus to the operation. He has had a long term social focus as a Justice of the Peace and as a Director of the Global Compact Network Australia.

Ian is the Head of Legal at New Zealand Green Investment Finance (NZGIF), New Zealand’s Crown-backed green investment bank. NZGIF’s purpose is to accelerate low emissions investment in Aotearoa New Zealand, with an investment approach, flexible mandate and long-term horizon that help it unlock and create investment opportunities, drive impact and provide access for others to climate-friendly investments. In addition to responsibility for NZGIF’s legal compliance and for the documentation and execution of its investment transactions, NZGIF’s legal function is also focused on being at the forefront of legal innovation and impact. Ian led the development of the New Zealand Climate Clause Bank, a collaboration of some of New Zealand’s top law firms to create a suite of template clauses for climate-aligned contracting. Ian has spent his career in private practice and in-house roles in the financial services industry in both New Zealand and Australia.

Kabeer Arora leads the Open Contracting India initiative at CivicDataLab that works towards making public procurement in India more efficient, accessible and participatory. Prior to this he has worked as an architect, educator, urban governance and policy researcher dealing with subjects around rapid urbanization and flood management. He has led and conceptualized various research, pedagogical and engagement programs. His work in communicating research and conceptualizing stakeholder engagement has helped make visibly complex knowledge accessible to people. His previous experience/work in urban studies influences his grounded approach towards accessibility and impact.
