Tim was until recently Professor and Chair, International Commercial & Contract Management, University of Leeds, School of Law, where he taught and led development of inter-disciplinary commercial programs.

Prior to founding World Commerce & Contracting, Tim was on the Chairman’s staff at IBM Corporation and led the development of worldwide commercial processes and skills. His early career included management roles in banking, automotive and aerospace industries, where he led negotiations up to $1.5 billion in value. He has served in advisory roles for government departments in various countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Japan.

Claude is currently a Commercial Excellence Lead (Director) responsible for delivering value, maximizing profits to a large ICT legal department. I am actively involved in a large CLM transformation focusing on tools and processes design, providing insights on data analytics, increased performance and continuous improvements. I recently moved to BriefBox which provides a software based solutions to the legal industry’s General Counsels and law firms. BriefBox develops innovative and disruptive solutions to overcome the fragmented legal tech environment, being the smart central choice for legal professionals who are moving through the industry’s digital transformation.

Claude has 20+ years of experience as a Bid Manager, Senior Contract Manager and as a Commercial Director on mega size accounts focusing on red accounts remediations, claims, disputes, upsells and negotiation of complex outsourcing deals.

Suvi Hirvonen-Ere is a seasoned legal, commercial and contract management executive with 20 years of international work experience in leadership roles mainly in global corporations. She is experienced in legal, commercial and contract management, risk management, strategy, transformation, sustainability and sales in mainly in the fields of ICT and energy. Suvi has recently accomplished her long-term ambition, the Doctor of Laws degree with her doctoral dissertation on ‘Contract Management Modus Operandi in the Post-Enron World’. Her second PhD on Sustainable Business at the Aalto University School of Business is soon accomplished. In addition to working at corporations, Suvi enjoys advising SMEs and start-ups. She is an Advisory Board Member and Board Advisor, a mentor, a speaker, an author, and a WorldCC Fellow and an elected member in the WorldCC Council. In her spare time, Suvi is involved in various community activities on a pro bono basis, such as mentoring, that she has been active with since 2006. She is currently a mentor in the Finland Chamber of Commerce Women Leaders’ Mentoring Program, aiming to get more diversity in the corporate boards.

Stefania Passera is a contract design and simplification expert based in Espoo, Finland. She runs her one-woman consultancy Passera Design, and is Contract Designer in Residence at World Commerce & Contracting. In these roles, she helps organizations transform their contracts and policies into user-friendly, effective tools that work better for business.

Stefania is an all-rounder, backing her design expertise with a solid academic background. She has served as Assistant Professor at the University of Vaasa, Department of Business Law, and has earned her doctoral degree from Aalto University School of Science. She has guest lectured at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University, Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession, KU Leuven, UC Louvain, European University Institute, ESADE Law School, and California Western School of Law.

She is a co-founder of the Legal Design Alliance, a co-author of the Legal Design Manifesto, and the creator of Legal Design Jam. In 2020, she has received the European Women of Legal Tech Award.

Anna Hurmerinta-Haanpää (LL.D) is a university lecturer at Aalto University Business School. She instructs prospective business leaders and lawyers on subjects such as CCM, sustainable contracting, proactive contracting, and contract design. Her present research interests include corporate sustainability regulation, sustainable contracting practices, contract language, proactive legal strategies for enhanced legal communication, and empirical methods in legal research. In addition to her teaching and research activities, Hurmerinta-Haanpää provides training on her areas of expertise to a range of organizations and professionals.

Nils-Erik Jansson is a lawyer and serial entrepreneur from Gothenburg, Sweden, who founded Jansson & Norin, Sweden’s first NewLaw firm, which was exited to Fondia Oy in 2017. With 15 years of experience practicing business and contract law, he saw his industry peers struggling with the repetitive admin work associated with contracts thus founded Precisely in 2014. For the last six years, with the Precisely team, he has been on a mission to set a new standard for digital contracting.

Mira has a Bachelor of Business Administration and is currently writing her supply chain focused thesis as part of her almost finished Master of Science (MSc.) studies (Economics and Business).
