Gina Schaar
I am a reform-minded lawyer, dedicated to leaving my corner of the world a little bit better off than when I found it, and being there for the people around me. I believe that passion for your work isn't something you follow or find, it's something you take with you in everything you pursue. I am pursuing that spirit right now by improving contracting templates and processes in the supply chain at a global pharmaceutical company; and I have pursued it by strengthening rule of law institutions in developing countries; protecting consumers from unfair practices; and promoting commercial clients' legal interests. For me it also means giving back to the communities where I have lived around the world by volunteering time as a tutor for at-risk school kids, fixing up housing and for low-income families, holding abandoned newborns, singing in amateur choirs, and serving on the board of the village where I live.
