Sharyn County holds a Masters of Commercial Law (MComLaw) and Business Administration (MBA) and is a Member Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

She also holds a number of World CC accreditations including Contract and Commercial Management Expert (CCME), Supplier Relationship Management Practitioner (SRMP) and Fellow.

Sharyn's career has spanned more than 20 years in senior commercial roles across the energy, technology, engineering, construction, outsourcing and services industries.

In addition to solid leadership skills, Sharyn brings a passion for, and demonstrated ability to deliver transformation and sustainable outcomes across the business, commercial and contracting lifecycle.

Else Bright has 29 years of experience as Commercial and Contracts Management practitioner specialising in Defence and IT industries in acquisition, services and as-a-service contracting, most recently working for BAE Systems’ Aircraft Sustainment and Training line of business in Williamtown, NSW focusing on the Joint Strike Fighter Program. Else has been a member of WorldCC for many years, and a WorldCC Council Member in Australia representing Aerospace and Defence. Else commenced her role as Senior Director Member Engagement ANZ in April 2022.

I have been involved in the community sector over ten years and I offer invaluable insight into bridging the gap between good business and resilient communities. In the last 4 years alone, as a Community Member of the Inner South East Metropolitan Partnership, I was involved in engaging the wider community and multicultural organisations to identify important social, economic, and environmental challenges and opportunities to be put forward as advice to the Victorian State Government. I played an integral role in ensuring young people’s voices were heard and have facilitated opportunities for their perspectives to be captured across all Metropolitan Partnerships.

I have been working as Inclusion and Capability Officer at the Level Crossings Removal project (LXRP) for the past 3 years. During this time, I have been providing incredible value to the sector by coordinating and delivering an inclusion capability program with industry and community peak partners, including providing them with resource guides, recommendations for training providers, delivering events and awareness raising activities and materials. I also coordinated the Women in Transport (WiT) mentoring program. These are typically projects lasting anywhere from weeks to 6 months. I am proud that the mentoring program grew in numbers and attracted participants from across transport and rail, both private businesses and government and with high engagement rate.

With passion towards poverty reduction through integrity-building and good governance, Jennifer Carisma Bretaña has been working at the grassroots for 20 years now as a local development planner and former Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator of the Province of South Cotabato. As a licensed urban and regional planner who emerged as Top 1 during the 2013 Licensure Examination for Environmental Planners in the Philippines, she believes that good governance is key to improving the quality of urban and rural spaces as Point of Contact of OGP Local–South Cotabato.

In 2021, she was appointed as Director of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development where she currently leads the Regional Office XII in serving with compassion the Filipino poor and low-income families with the highest level of integrity and accountability especially during the pandemic.

Taking advantage of her academic background having earned her Master of Science Degree in Regional Development Planning from the University of the Philippines-School of Urban and Regional Planning and from the University of Dortmund in Germany, she has been implementing initiatives in her region aimed at bridging the housing gaps and addressing human settlements challenges.

Verity found her love for the law and contracts later in life as a mature age legal student. After completing an internship with a mid-sized telco company, she was invited to stay on as a paralegal - yes to finally getting paid to do legal work! She enjoyed the fast pace of work and practical experience of in house life. As a junior lawyer, Verity was eager to help with more substantial contracts but found her time eaten away with contract admin. Printing and binding contracts, tabbing up documents for signatures, chasing down executives to sign documents, scanning in contracts… She felt stuck in admin and frustrated. So she decided to encourage the small legal team to adopt electronic signatures and from there her love affair with contracts really took off. What started as just a productivity focus turned into a real passion as Verity started to explore plain language and visual contracting, attending various conferences and getting involved with communities across the world looking to improve contracts. As an in house lawyer, Verity could see the tangible benefits of re-designing contracts for readability and efficiency every day, and she was keen to learn more.
