Crises have always been part of human history. Despite this, new types of crises and repeats of former events have revealed the limit of our capacity to anticipate or prepare for such disruptive events - a well-known example being the challenges faced over the last couple of years.

According to our recent Benchmark Report, businesses are now placing risk mitigation and management at the top of their agenda - 71% of contract management organizations ranking this objective at the top spot and 44% of commercial management organizations ranking it in second place compared to other objectives that they are looking to achieve. Resilience has become a strategic term used by organizations to prepare their tactics and strategies to try to minimize the negative effect of crises in the short-term while engaging in capitalizing on opportunities arising from crises in the long term.

In this webinar, Sally Guyer, Global CEO of the World Commerce and Contracting, will be joined by Dr. Jacqueline You from Durham University Business School to:

  • Explore research and practice on organizational resilience
  • Discuss the implications your organization might be facing
  • Identify how resilience manifests itself in disruptive contexts
  • Highlight the importance of resilience building for the future of work
