While the research is still limited, there is new evidence that suggests climate change disproportionately affects women and girls. No one understands this better than young Kenyan climate activist, Elizabeth Wathuti, whose speech at COP26 went viral last November as she implored world leaders to ‘open their hearts and listen’ to those that are suffering most from the climate crisis. While it is clear that there is no one person who will fix our climate crisis or gender divide, we as a collective community can be empowered to find meaningful and sustainable solutions that will have a lasting impact.
Join us for this incredibly special Inspiring Women’s webinar coinciding with International Women’s Day where we welcome the remarkable Elizabeth Wathuti and hear her stories and insights, suggestions and opportunities for change, and get inspired to take action.
