The Contract and Commercial Manager will be responsible for, but to limited to:

  • Owning the recommendation of commercial and contracting framework to senior management at Intel supply chain, Component Research (CR), Pathfinding and Technology Development groups.
  • The engagement plan, negotiation plan, and transition plan for the supplier technology you're enabling.
  • Executing plans, utilizing your business acumen coupled with contracting and negotiation expertise to deliver solutions that meets Cost, Quality, Availability, Technology, and Environmental compliance targets throughout all phases of the product/technology life cycle.
  • Editing and drafting contract language independently with minimum support from attorney, work independently and collaborating with others when require. These contracts include purchasing agreement, joint development agreement, strategic/collaboration agreement, product evaluation agreements, IP/license agreements, and complex statement of works.
  • Providing contract analysis and develop strategy on key deals and transactions is critical.
  • Using market intelligence, commodity/category expertise, and supplier relationships to create opportunity for both supplier and Intel in an ambiguous environment.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field of study.

3+ years of relevant experience in:

  • Contract Management, Drafting, and Negotiations at senior level.
  • Supply chain management or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Business or Supply Chain.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) with 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, commercial and IP law.
  • Local and Multinational supplier engagement/management expertise.
  • Experience working with consortia or research institutions.
